Chukka Caribbean Adventures proudly celebrates two recent developments highlighting its leadership and contribution to Jamaica’s tourism industry.
Chukka CEO Marc Melville has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of Jamaica Vacations Limited (JAMVAC), following the acceptance by Cabinet of a recommendation from the Minister of Tourism, the Honourable Edmund Bartlett.
His appointment took effect on May 4, 2026, and will continue through November 23, 2028.
The appointment reflects Melville’s extensive experience in tourism and his longstanding commitment to strengthening Jamaica’s visitor experience. As CEO of Chukka Caribbean Adventures, he leads one of the Caribbean’s foremost providers of nature, adventure and cultural experiences, with operations across seven countries.
Chukka Caribbean Adventures was also recently recognized for its outstanding partnership and contribution to Jamaica’s cruise tourism sector. Melville accepted the recognition on behalf of Chukka during Jamaica Cruising’s Regal Rewards Ceremony, held on August 29, 2026, at Sandals Dunn’s River.
The event celebrated tourism partners whose hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence continue to support Jamaica’s cruise industry and overall tourism product.
