Disney Cruise Line made its first ever call to Jamaica Tuesday, and Chukka was a top adventure choice for its passengers with their newly expanded park at Chukka Good Hope in Falmouth.
Falmouth was the perfect choice as Disney’s port with its long heritage, historic town and proximity to Good Hope Estate. Being chosen by Disney as their provider at the port is an indication of Chukka’s ability to deliver to discerning guests with an expectation of a high level of customer experience.
Dating back to the 18th Century, Chukka at Good Hope sits on more than 2,000 lush acres, with scenic views and access to the majestic Martha Brae River. From Zipline adventures to River Tubing and estate tours via Horse and Carriage, Chukka’s Adventure Estate offers an unrivalled variety of experiences.
The property recently underwent a multi-million dollar expansion, which includes a partnership with three Jamaican brands – Appleton Rum, Jablum Coffee and Walkerswood Jerk Seasoning – to create a Colonial Village, where guests can see, smell, touch and taste many unique locally manufactured products.
Chukka also enhanced the estate with a pool and leisure area, adult challenge course, kid’s playground and exotic bird aviary.
On Tuesday, Chukka ran a team adventure race for their first Disney guests, with groups of four breaking off to complete various activities at the Adventure Estate. Participants raved about their day and experiences, sharing their feedback on the tours with exceptionally high approval rates.
