May 23, 2012 (Montego Bay, Jamaica) – The Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA) recently recognized Chukka for it’s excellent service in 2011-2012.
Chukka received the 2012 Attraction Award, presented to the company that displays the most distinguished service to hotels, at JHTA’s annual awards gala earlier this month.
The JHTA represents Jamaican hotels and other visitor accommodations, as well as most suppliers of goods and services to the tourism industry. The organization has operated an annual awards program for more than 20 years, recognizing individuals and entities that have made outstanding contributions to Jamaica’s tourism industry.
Founded in 1983, Green Globe Certified Chukka offers 59 tours in Jamaica, Belize and Turks & Caicos. Collectively, the operations delivered over 400,000 adventure tours to cruise and hotel guests in 2011.
