Montego Bay, St. James – A quad from Chukka Foundation trekked to the Old Hospital Beach in Montego Bay to support the Montego Bay Marine Park’s 2016 Earth Day Beach Clean-up and Beautification competition held on 23 April 2016.
4 High School Service Clubs took part in the Beach Beautification competition – a one hour challenge to beautify a 100 square foot space on the beach with plants donated by Rosehall Development’s Plant Nursery.
Chukka Foundation, Rosehall Development and Rotary made up the panel of judges that determined the winning space to be (drum roll please…) Cornwall College.
Chukka Foundation presents 2 Jungle River Tubing Adventure Tours to Teacher Navarone Morgan and student Jahiem from the Cornwall College Photography Club who documented the day.

About Chukka Foundation
The Chukka Foundation is the community service arm of Chukka Caribbean and supports four themes: 1-ANIMALS, 2-CHILDREN, 3-COMMUNITIES SURROUNDING CHUKKA, 4-FAMILY OF CHUKKA. With a board of nine members including directors and line-level team members, decisions are made monthly as to what donation requests to accommodate and which projects to partner with. Once approved by the board, volunteers are invited from any Chukka location to join-in and the fun begins. Annually, a fund raiser is held and monthly, a project is completed under one of the themes.
