January 15, 2016 (Montego Bay, Jamaica) Chukka started the New Year right with the launch of Azamara Club Cruises’ “AzAmazing Evenings” at the Good Hope property in early January.

Featuring a performance by the legendary Jamaican reggae band Third World, an authentic Jamaican menu and a tour and interpretive presentation on the history of Good Hope Estate, the evening was developed exclusively for the cruise line for their maiden voyage into the Port of Falmouth.

“This is one example of how Chukka works collaboratively to meet the individual needs of our cruise and resort partners,” stated Marc Melville, Director of Sales and Development at Chukka. “We are an adventure company that recognizes that travelers are looking for diverse, authentic experiences, and that each traveler defines adventure differently.”

As Third World rocked the audience with a string of hits, over 500 guests including cruisers and local dignitaries enjoyed made on location and locally sourced delicacies. The menu included variations on favorites like calaloo and feta filo, refried green plantain cups with smoked marlin, and jerk chicken kebobs.

According to Azamara, events like the one at Chukka Good Hope are the perfect fit for their passengers, allowing them to really experience the destination. For Chukka, the evening offered a chance to showcase the diverse activities and adventures they can offer guests.

A repeat of the evening will be offered to Azamara passengers when the vessel returns to Falmouth on April 1. Third World will also be back at Good Hope to help welcome the new guests.

Chukka now operates over 70 tours in Jamaica, Belize, and Turks & Caicos. To learn more about Chukka active adventure, culture and leisure tours, call toll free 1-877-4-CHUKKA, or visit www.chukka.com.
